Fridays!

Doncha all lurve Fridays!?

Love it as the day which marks the end of a long working week.
Love it as the day which marks the start of all the good things.
Love it as the day which parties STARTS!

yeeehaaa !!

What makes Fridays so special?
Is it because of the casual dress down in office?
Is it that lovely lady's deep V-cut figure hugging dress?
Is it that hunky male colleague's 6-pegs abs?

Nooo. All these are insignificant on a Friday.

Listen to what most people exclaims on a Friday. What do you hear?

"THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!"

The happy-party-relaxed mood with intention of accumulating all singles under one roof plus in an abundance of mouth watering FANTASTIC food, was what got T.G.I.F (the restaurant)started in 1965.

'nuff said.

I was ecstatic when TGIF sets to, finally, open in Queensbay Mall Penang. If you have been following my log, you'll understand that Penang doesn't have much of those franchise HUMONGOUS restaurants okay.

Try picturing my watermelon grin when TGIF was officially open in Penang.

OKay, ignore the watermelon grin, coz it's undainty.

By far, I have been to TGIF Penang 3 times. I always end up not having camera when I'm heading to places with good food. No pictures to show how the food looks like before and after. Will do that if I happen to get a free meal to dine there. But before that happens.... make do with words lah.

Customer service, in general, is good. There was a hiccup in one of my experiences, but I have to praise the manageress for handling the situation well and being very apologetic. All good at the end of the day.

One interesting feature I have noticed, is that the whole TGIF crew will serenade ANY birthday person on request. Trust me, they are absolutely creative in their singing, even with some dancing moves. Awww. It's really sweet. Gives such a personal touch to the customers. THUMBS UP!

Food wise is mind blowing orgasmically FANTASTIC!! Omg... I love the Martini prawns appetizer. Succulent HUGE prawns! Fresh green olives! A little tanch of tomato juice! Martini!
and MARTINI! MARTINI!!

For those non-alcoholic drinkers, there are other beverage to choose from. No worries. The bottomless refills of their soft drinks. The fruity cocktails. The smoothies. The hot beverage section with your coffee / tea / mocha / latte.

Yummy!

Main course was f*cking mind blowing as well. Try the fabulous Jack Daniels' range. Even if you can't eat beef, no worries, they have other poultry selections that will blow your mind as well. The BBQ Jack Daniel Chicken is great. Problem with a lot of restaurants is that their chicken ain't tender enough. Sometimes you chew so long so hard that you just wish to spit the whole mouthful of tough meat away. I have no idea what TGIF's recipe has done to the chicken, but boy, IT'S TENDER!!!!! Slicing is easy, chewing is no feat.

Or if you have a small stomach, like me, yet still want to enjoy the main course without bearing the sin of wasting a majority of the great food away. (note: Think of all the starving people in South Africa before making your order!) You can try the TGIF fajitas section. Bite size portions with sour cream and cheese together with your grilled chicken.

*sighhhh*

What can I say about the food in TGIF?

F*CKING CLIMATIC GREAT in which I'll want MORE MORE MOREEEEE !!!!!

See... I told you I'm bad at descriptive writing.

*blushes*

Think I'll psycho TV later to have our dinner at TGIF.

*throwDIETplansOUTofWINDOW*

p/s: TGIF is having this 3-course set meals for a fixed price. But there's a catch.... the list of appetizers and main course is SO long, that it's SO tough to make a decision which to take! Hurry hurry!!

Shouldn't the title be, "Why I Want To Eat At Fridays?"
